SANTIAGO BRUNI
My name is Santiago Bruni, and I’m an Art Director and poster illustrator based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I studied Advertising at Miami Ad School, where I was nominated for awards like D&AD New Blood and won the Top Dogs Awards. I’ve worked with brands like MUBI, Fernet 1882, AMC, Netflix, and E!, and I’m currently an artist at Hero Complex Gallery. As a huge pop culture fan, I bring passion and storytelling into every project I create.
We made this graph for an assignment in a subject called Witty Thinking, where we had to work with an extraction example in an advertisement. For this we chose the Son of Man painting to promote one of Burger King's new desserts.

After doing Son of Man, I started to look more into René Magriette's work, and I noticed that he had a lot of paintings apart from Son of Man that revolved around apples. Because of this, I decided to do 2 more graphic pieces with La Chambre d'Écoute and Force of habit.

Overall I liked this campaign because I got to do something a little more creative that was outside of the more traditional campaigns or graphics for fast food companies.
